MDP remote monitoring solution

for impressed (CP) Cathodic Protection Systems

MDP remote monitoring solution for impressed (CP) Cathodic Protection Systems

Discover MDP’s advanced techniques to monitor & control the corrosion of any metal surface or structure

MDP offers cutting-edge technology in its range of monitoring & control and power products to monitor and protect steel used in structures such as pipelines, storage tanks, steel piles, ships, offshore oil platforms, and steel in reinforced concrete in Bridges and High Rise Towers.

The simplest method of cathodic protection is galvanic protection where a metal of different electrochemical potential is used as a “sacrificial” anode, connected to the structure. For larger structures, galvanic anodes cannot economically deliver enough current to provide complete protection. Impressed current cathodic protection systems use anodes connected to a DC power source to achieve this protection.

Our solution include specialist products for impressed current Cathodic Protection systems from our partners Omniflex, called PowerView CP. This system harnesses our depth of experience in power control and remote monitoring in harsh environments to bring reliable cost saving solutions to the challenges associated with managing impressed current cathodic protection systems in remote locations. Working with leading experts in the field of cathodic protection, we have designed a system that is assisting to reduce operating costs and the carbon footprint associated with these kinds of systems. Omniflex solutions are being relied upon every hour of every day by major corporations and around the world. An investment in solutions that carry such a large responsibility requires confidence in our track record, and the continued reliance of some of the world’s largest industries on Omniflex technologies is sufficient testimony to this supportDon’t ask us – ask our loyal customer base.
